Saving Sight is hiring an Overnight Healthcare Coordinator to work a hybrid schedule in the Kansas City area. You will review medical records, coordinate donor services, and guide families through the donation process with empathy and professionalism.

This role requires calm under pressure, excellent communication, and comfort with overnight hours. You will support Recovery Technicians, navigate EHRs and office tools, and manage multiple active cases with strict attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare coordination or similar role.
• Ability to review medical records and determine donor suitability.
• Excellent communication and empathy in sensitive conversations.
• Comfort with overnight schedules and independent decision making.

Responsibilities

• Guide donor families through the donation process with empathy and professionalism.
• Review medical records, health histories, and eligibility criteria to determine donor suitability.
• Communicate with hospitals, healthcare providers, funeral homes, and medical examiner offices to gather information and coordinate services.
• Dispatch and support Recovery Technicians throughout the donation process.
• Manage multiple active cases while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards.
• Make informed decisions in time-sensitive situations while balancing changing priorities.
