Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Norwood is seeking an Overnight Guest Services Agent to join our team. This part-time role involves guest registration, making reservations, and providing information about the hotel and area.

You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include check-in/out, handling payments, resolving issues, and guiding guests on local attractions.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience
• 1 or more full years employment experience in a related position
• Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location
• Hours required: Part Time 16 hours per week for Overnight;Must be flexible;Weekends/ Holidays
• Previous hotel and Opera PMS experience preferred. Must work every Thursday and Sunday overnight. 11PM-7AM
• Proficiency in the English language
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. guest luggage; limited
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times

Responsibilities

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations in sometimes fast-paced environment
• Communicate relevant shift information to next shift and direct supervisor
• Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities
• Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies
• Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest requests
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures
• Assist other departments when necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
