Home2 Suites by Hilton North Attleboro is hiring a Guest Service Agent for a part-time role. You will register guests, handle reservations and provide local information at the North Attleboro hotel.

The position requires at least a high school education, English fluency, and the ability to work on site with flexible shifts (evenings, afternoons, mornings) including weekends and holidays. Customer service experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of employment experience in a related position.
• Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location.
• Part Time 16-30 hours per week; shifts include Evening, Afternoon (PM) and Morning (AM).
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms.
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. guest luggage.

Responsibilities

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations in sometimes fast-paced environment.
• Communicate relevant shift information to next shift and direct supervisor.
• Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys and explain the hotel's amenities.
• Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner.
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests.
• Work with other staff members to ensure all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate special requests.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Perform duties as outlined in training procedures and SOPs.
• Assist with other departments when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• 1 or more full years employment experience in a related position
• Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location
• Hours required: Part Time 16-30 hours per week for shifts Evening; Afternoon (PM); Morning (AM); Must be flexible; Weekends/ Holidays
• Proficiency in the English language
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. guest luggage; limited
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
• Pep experience preferred.

Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities

• Previous customer facing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite
• Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French

$17 - $18 Hourly
