Job summary

Anvil Hotel in Jackson, Wyoming is seeking a Night Auditor to carry the guest experience through the overnight hours while completing accounting, reporting, and front office tasks. This role balances warm hospitality with accuracy, safety awareness, and strong attention to detail.

The Night Auditor checks guests in and out, responds to guest needs, answers calls, takes reservations, walks the property, and completes the nightly audit process in the property management system.

Qualifications

• Six months of related hospitality experience.
• Accounting, cash handling or front desk exposure preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Comfort with hotel systems and nightly audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional guest experiences overnight.
• Check guests in/out accurately and assist guests as needed.
• Answer calls, take reservations, and provide information about the hotel and area.
• Complete nightly shift checklist and follow operating standards.
• Generate and review accounting reports; balance shift banks.
• Distribute nightly audit packets to recipients and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and systems; address issues or escalate.
• Walk the property nightly and address safety or security concerns.
