Qualifications

• Six months of related hospitality or guest service experience.
• High school diploma or GED; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
• Ability to apply basic math concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Comfort working with hotel and business systems including property management systems and point-of-sale systems; Stayntouch, Alice, Shopify, Aloha, Toast, or BevSpot experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, professional guest experience during overnight hours.
• Check hotel guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Answer calls, take reservations, and provide local area information.
• Complete nightly shift checklist items and follow operating standards.
• Generate and review nightly accounting reports and balance shift banks.
• Open, secure, and balance shift banks and verify transactions.
• Walk the property to identify issues and escalate as needed.
