Job summary

Dream Downtown seeks an enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team in New York City. This overnight role focuses on delivering attentive, courteous service and creating meaningful experiences for guests, acting as the first and last impression of the hotel.

You will respond quickly to guest requests, assist with check-in processes, and coordinate with departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Competitive hourly pay is offered along with Hyatt hospitality benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including AM, PM, weekends, holidays, and potentially overnight.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 10–20 pounds as needed.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert for guests about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation.
• Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Review Front Office log and Trace File daily.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be knowledgeable of rates, packages and promotions and in-house groups.
• Know emergency procedures and assist as needed.
