Job summary

Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a GSOC Operator to monitor security operations, assist clients, and respond to incidents during overnight shifts. You will use access control, alarm systems, and BI sources to detect and alert on incidents impacting people, property, or brand image.

The role requires security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5+ years verifiable experience), and the ability to pass background checks. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience.
• Minimum of two years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and driving positions require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and emergency responses as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems.
• Investigate alarms and coordinate with security patrols or emergency services as required.
• Assist employees on safety and security concerns.
• Monitor travel safety and security of company personnel.
