Job summary

CableCom in Benicia, CA is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to lead the FTTH in-home and SMB installation team overnight from 8pm to 6am. You will mentor technicians, manage schedules, and ensure quality with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires at least 1 year in fiber optic or cable installation, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible, fast-paced mindset. Salaried position with competitive benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 1 year fiber optic or cable installation experience.
Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians.
Coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of field staff.
Coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing and ensure adequate staffing.
Identify problem areas and communicate solutions to the Project Manager.
Develop procedures to better organize the team/department.
Assign duties and scope of authority to technicians.
Assist in recruitment and training efforts.
Track performance, tool and vehicle assignments, and consumables.
Interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages from installation work.
