Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to lead FTTH in-home and SMB installation teams. You will coach staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with dispatch while upholding safety and quality. The role requires expertise in fiber/cable installation and a customer-focused mindset.

The position is overnight (8pm–6am) with competitive pay and benefits. Prior supervisory experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license with a good record is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year fiber optic or cable installation experience.
• Ability to enforce safety policies and procedures on job sites.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule.
• Capable of fast-paced, time-sensitive work and handling multiple tasks.
• Strong customer service focus and teamwork.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians.
• Coach, counsel, and evaluate field staff performance.
• Coordinate scheduling and assist dispatch with daily routes.
• Identify and communicate problems and solutions to Project Manager.
• Develop and implement procedures to organize the team/department.
• Assign duties and scope of authority to technicians.
• Assist in recruitment, training, warehousing, and logistics support.
• Maintain project reporting and documentation standards.
• Track employee performance, tools, vehicles, uniforms, and consumables.
• Perform quality control inspections and coach issues.
• Interface with customers to resolve installation-related complaints or damages.
• Perform other duties as assigned; shift is overnight 8pm–6am.
