Job summary

FiberTel, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quanta Services, is hiring an Underground Foreman to oversee crews on underground construction projects. The foreman will train laborers, supervise heavy equipment operations, and enforce safety protocols on site.

This full-time hourly position requires 3–5 years of underground construction experience, expertise in reading maps and blueprints, and a valid driver's license (CDL a plus). Pay ranges $28.00–$36.00 per hour, DOE, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of underground construction experience.
• Ability to read maps, plans and blueprints and convey this information to others.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of underground construction, including loading, digging, and placing materials.
• Train and manage crew, ensure productivity and safety on site.
• Identify utilities and ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
• Submit daily time cards and pre-trip inspections; maintain equipment and job site cleanliness.
