Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor for the overnight shift. You will handle front desk operations, register guests, take reservations, and balance transactions while preparing daily reports.

The role requires attention to accounting principles, independence, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Training and standard procedures will guide nightly tasks across front office operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of progressive hotel or related field experience.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Ability to solve problems and respond to emergencies.
• Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Clearly convey information and ideas.
• Ability to evaluate and act quickly under pressure.
• Maintain composure under stress.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per Avion Hospitality standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
• Run all reports for Food and Beverage audit as required.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist daily.
• Balance the day’s work and related cash handling.
• Maintain Front Office system operation per standards.
• Fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Ensure security checks and building lockups are performed nightly.
• Handle guest requests after 11:00 p.m. and through the night.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.
• Keep accurate records as required by Avion Hospitality standards.
• Be familiar with all company policies and house rules.
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue summaries as needed.
• Attend meetings and perform additional duties requested by management.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field

College coursework in related field

Previous supervisory responsibility

Ability to work independently

Knowledge of Accounting Principles

Problem solving and emergency responsiveness

Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing

Clear communication

Capable of quick, accurate decision making

Remain composed under pressure
