Job summary

Allied Universal® in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Overnight Lobby to greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide responsive customer service at a technology‑focused site.

You will patrol the front desk, respond to incidents, coordinate with colleagues and emergency responders as needed, and support reception tasks while upholding Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and people‑first culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk in a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with reception duties, including answering phones, providing directions, and communicating professionally with employees, guests, and Allied Universal leadership.
