Qualifications

Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background checks required in accordance with laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and regulations.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Greet and screen visitors, verify IDs and access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and security systems from the front desk, report issues per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Assist with reception duties, answer phones, give directions, and communicate professionally with staff and leadership.
