Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Computer Operations in Whippany, NJ to serve and safeguard clients across industries, with a focus on welcoming employees, visitors, and customers at the front desk.

You will manage access, monitor lobby activity, respond to security concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication as part of a professional Allied Universal team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a financial institution, following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor and manage visitor entry, verify identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate with appropriate personnel regarding arrivals and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
