Avion Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The role focuses on guest registration, reservations, daily reports, balancing transactions, and security walks.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a hotel, a high school diploma, familiarity with accounting principles, and strong computer skills. You will work independently and handle guest issues calmly in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College course work in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot to resolve guest issues and emergencies.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Must convey information clearly and evaluate alternatives quickly.
• Must work well under pressure and manage problems calmly.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per Avion Hospitality standards and hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming per brand standards.
• Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
• Run reports for Food and Beverage audit as required.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Balance the day’s work and postings.
• Maintain Front Office cashiering and computer system operations per standards.
• Fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Ensure nightly security checks and locked corridors.
• Handle guest requests from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures per standards.
• Maintain proper record keeping.
• Be familiar with Avion Hospitality policies and house rules.
• Prepare and attach folio backups to bills.
• Maintain radio contact and security procedures.
• Ensure staff are attentive and courteous to guests and colleagues.
• Prepare Daily Flash Reports as needed.
• Transfer master or house accounts as necessary.
• Distribute revenue printouts and vouchers as directed by SOPs.
• Train new Night Auditors as requested by management.
• Run morning reports per procedures.
• Coordinate newspaper delivery and Express Check-Outs.
• Oversee nightly walk-throughs and secure areas.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standard.
• Complete reports promptly and perform miscellaneous duties as required.
• Assist guests with food orders when applicable and maintain a clean environment.
• Attend meetings as required and perform other duties as requested by management.
