Job summary

Hilton is seeking a guest services professional for overnight front desk operations at Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Charles St. Louis.

You will handle check-ins/outs, reservations, wake-up calls, and guest inquiries in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction throughout the night shift. Responsibilities include reconciling transactions, audit reporting, maintenance requests, and cross-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor.
• Proficient with computers and reservation systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins and check-outs, verify reservations, assign rooms, and review payment information.
• Create, modify, and confirm guest reservations as needed.
• Answer calls within three rings and respond to inquiries courteously.
• Set wake-up calls accurately and warmly.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby during overnight shifts.
• Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming smile.
• Reconcile daily transactions and postings for all hotel cashiers.
• Review and verify accuracy of folios and city ledger activity.
• Ensure end-of-day procedures are followed and submitted on time.
• Respond to guest comments, concerns, or complaints; log and resolve issues.
• Provide local dining, shopping, and travel recommendations.
• Complete night audit shift checklist tasks and reporting.
• Log details in the shift pass-on log for the incoming team.
• Submit maintenance requests via the hotel system.
• Coordinate with departments to meet guest needs and uphold service standards.
• Assist with early-morning setup and other tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Maintain key control and guest confidentiality.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents immediately.
• Complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance as per company standards.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
