Job summary

Hotel Equities seeks a meticulous Night Auditor for the Springhill Suites Portage, MI, to manage front desk operations overnight (11 PM–7 AM) and ensure accurate accounting. You will check guests in/out, process transactions, handle calls, assist guests with requests, and coordinate with other departments to maintain service quality across the property.

Strong communication and cash handling skills are essential, as is flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Basic computer skills to operate property management and reservations systems.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local requirements.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Record guest calls, messages, requests or concerns; log guest preferences.
• Check guests out and resolve late or disputed charges.
• Process cash and credit card transactions using established procedures.
• Coordinate with management on outstanding guest requests or issues.
