Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, payments, room assignments, guest requests, and other Front Desk needs with professionalism and genuine care.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide thoughtful information and recommendations, and take ownership of requests or concerns through resolution.
• Provide personalized attention to VIPs and special occasions while maintaining a polished overnight presence.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, folios, payments, and Front Office records and overnight reports.
• Review reservations and guest accounts for accuracy and protect confidentiality of guest and financial information.
• Document overnight activity and hand off priorities to morning Front Office.
• Coordinate with Security and other departments to address incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, secure, and professional Front Desk environment with sound judgment and attention to detail.

Description The Overnight Front Desk Agent serves as a key ambassador of El Encanto during the overnight hours, providing warm, polished, and highly personalized service while supporting the Front Office operation throughout the night. As a primary point of contact for overnight guests, this position assists with arrivals, departures, guest requests, and service needs while helping ensure a seamless transition between evening and morning operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with Security and other hotel departments.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations

• Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, payments, room assignments, guest requests, and other Front Desk needs with professionalism and genuine care.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide thoughtful information and recommendations, and take ownership of requests or concerns through resolution.
• Provide personalized attention to VIPs, special occasions, late arrivals, and individual guest preferences while maintaining a polished and welcoming overnight presence.

Overnight Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate guest accounts, folios, payments, Front Office records, and assigned overnight reports and processes in accordance with established procedures.
• Review reservations and guest accounts for accuracy, identify discrepancies requiring follow-up, and maintain appropriate confidentiality of guest and financial information.
• Document overnight activity, pending requests, guest concerns, and operational priorities to ensure a thorough and organized handoff to the morning Front Office team.

Communication, Safety & Overnight Coordination

• Partner closely with Security and other operating departments to coordinate overnight guest needs, service requests, operational concerns, and appropriate responses to incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of overnight hotel activity and follow established procedures for guest disturbances, safety concerns, medical situations, and other matters requiring escalation.
• Support a clean, organized, secure, and professional Front Desk environment while demonstrating sound judgment, flexibility, and attention to detail throughout the overnight shift.
