Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an overnight Front Desk Associate to welcome guests, check them in/out, handle payments, and provide information on hotel services. You will process reservations, upsell rooms, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining accurate records and following security procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of guest service experience, fluency in English, and the ability to stand behind the desk and perform light lifting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; one year front desk/guest service experience preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Register guests and issue room keys; provide information on services and location.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Upsell rooms to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash/credit transactions and prepare/pay out deposits and reports.
• Complete daily accounting reports for management review.
• Handle guest safes and communicate requests to management.
• Address guest complaints with service recovery as needed.
• Assist with reservations by phone or in-house, including changes.
• Support teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
• Perform additional duties including tours and concierge tasks.
