Job summary

The Willard InterContinental Washington is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins and payments, and provide local recommendations in Washington, DC. You will be the frontline ambassador for IHG Rewards Club members and guests, ensuring a seamless, personalized stay around the clock.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, resolve issues calmly, and stay tech‑savvy with daily hotel systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and empathy towards guests’ concerns
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to turn issues into memorable experiences
• Fluency in English; additional local language skills are a plus but not essential
• Literate and tech-savvy – basic math, reading, writing and computer use

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and start memorable experiences with a friendly welcome
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or by phone
• Handle guest bookings payments and manage check-ins/check-outs smoothly
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide tailored recommendations
• Be the primary contact for guests’ questions, billing issues, and restaurant referrals
• Assist in running overnight reports
