Job summary

XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead overnight hub freight operations, scheduling, and staffing. You’ll supervise hourly staff, manage tonnage and payroll while enforcing safety policies. Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Prefer 2 years of supervisory experience and knowledge of LTL and DOT rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Distribution or Logistics, or 4 years of related work or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and be the primary contact for workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs.
