Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Clearwater, FL is seeking a forklift operator to stock, load, unload, and transport merchandise throughout the club. You will inspect equipment, prepare pallets, and assist with maintaining a safe, organized environment for Members.

The role involves standing, moving on hard surfaces, occasional heavy lifting, and following safety procedures. Training and certification are required to begin work.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner and inspects before use.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials; prepares pallets for storage or shipment.
• Transports merchandise and pallets throughout the club; uses a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks and rotates general merchandise; handles damaged items per policy.
• Greets Members and provides prompt service while locating merchandise.
