Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a forklift operator to move merchandise, load and unload trucks, and maintain stock integrity while delivering friendly service to Members.

The role requires safety awareness, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and adherence to club policies. Training and certification are required, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading and receives merchandise.
• Transports merchandise and pallets throughout the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise, ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
• Greets Members and provides prompt, courteous service.
