Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a forklift operator responsible for operating a forklift, transporting merchandise, loading and unloading delivery trucks, inspecting incoming shipments, and preparing pallets.

You’ll help stock and rotate general merchandise, keep the club neat, greet Members, and provide prompt service. The role requires 18+ and completion of training and certification; weekend/holiday availability may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Forklift training and certification processes completed preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading.
• Transports merchandise and pallets throughout the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks, rotates and stores general merchandise and food merchandise; ensures items are fully stocked.
• Keeps the club neat, clean and organized and performs general maintenance duties.
• Greets Members and provides prompt, courteous service and assistance.
