Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in University Park, FL is seeking a forklift operator responsible for moving merchandise, loading and unloading trucks, and keeping the club floor stocked and safe.

You’ll work with a team, open and close the club according to procedures, greet Members, and uphold policy compliance while maintaining a clean, organized environment.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, willingness to obtain certification, and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/counterbalance safely and in accordance with standards.
• Load and unload merchandise to and from delivery trucks; inspect and receive deliveries.
• Prepare pallets, wrap and label as required.
• Transport merchandise throughout the club using pallet jack and other equipment.
• Stock, rotate and store merchandise; maintain neat, organized club.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and greet Members.
• Maintain club policies and follow safety procedures.
