Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to move merchandise throughout the club, load and unload trucks, and ensure accurate receiving and pallet preparation. You will operate a forklift safely, inspect equipment, and support Members with prompt service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes safety, proper pallet handling, and adherence to policies while maintaining a neat, organized club and assisting with daily operations as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift/counterbalance truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading and receives merchandise.
• Stocks and stores merchandise ensuring proper rotation and inventory control.
• Maintains club cleanliness and organization and assists Members as needed.
