Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a forklift operator to support loading, unloading, and stocking duties across the club floor. You will assist with pallet handling, merchandise replenishment, and routine club maintenance while upholding safety standards and providing friendly service to Members.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in a fast-paced retail environment with occasional exposure to cold zones. Training and safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and prepare delivery trucks for unloading and receive merchandise.
• Stock, rotate and store general merchandise and food merchandise.
• Assist with daily club openings and closings and provide courteous member service.
