Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to move merchandise, load and unload trucks, and stock the sales floor. You will participate in club openings and closings, greet Members, and provide prompt service across departments.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy in receiving shipments, and maintaining organized aisles. A willingness to stand, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a busy, loud environment is required. Experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect forklifts prior to use and follow safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and prepare delivery trucks for unloading and ensure accurate receipts.
• Transport merchandise and pallets throughout the club using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise; keep aisles neat and organized.
