Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare in La Mesa is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative for the Emergency department. The role operates overnight, Wednesday to Saturday, 8PM-7AM, supporting veterinarians and the medical team while delivering compassionate client service.

You will greet clients, manage calls, discuss pet health concerns and payment options, and help maintain medical records with our practice system. Open 24/7 to serve La Mesa, El Cajon and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of veterinary clinical/hospital experience required.
• Veterinary Emergency or Urgent Care experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work on weekend day.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EzyVet Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist veterinarians and medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Greet clients and their pets with prompt professionalism and courtesy.
• Answer multi-phone line, providing friendly, informative client service over the phone.
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and present financial estimates.
