Job summary

The Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA, part of PetVet Care Centers, seeks a Veterinary Technician for the Overnight Shift to support emergency and critical care.

You will perform patient care, assist surgeries, maintain records, and communicate with owners, with a focus on compassionate, top‑notch service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an emergency room setting.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, determine animal requirements, and aid diagnostics.
• Care for hospitalized patients, monitor vitals, administer meds.
• Assist during surgeries and procedures; prep and maintain equipment.
• Maintain patient records and communicate with owners.
• Sterilize instruments and manage supplies and inventory.
• Assist triage and discharge of patients after care.
