Qualifications

• Virginia Licensure required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, examinations, diagnostics, and nursing tasks.
• Assist during surgery and operations; manage medications and vaccines.
• Maintain medical records and discharge patients with owner communication.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
