PetVet Care Centers' The Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA seeks a Veterinary Technician (Day Shift) to join our team and support hospital operations with quality veterinary care and exceptional service for patients and clients.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency capabilities, MRI and CT imaging, and access to ten specialty departments with board-certified specialists to back the emergency team.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with valid license and relevant clinical experience.
• Strong patient care and animal handling skills are essential.
• Accurate record-keeping of patient data and treatments.
• Ability to assist with diagnostics and procedures under veterinary supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care by assessing animal needs and monitoring during examinations.
• Assist during surgeries and procedures, including nursing care and instrument handling.
• Maintain accurate medical records and medication administration logs.
• Assist with triage, discharge planning and client communication as directed by the veterinarian.
• Ensure clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical areas and equipment.
