Job summary

Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in Vienna, Virginia is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician - Emergency to join our overnight ER team. You will provide dedicated patient care, assist during surgeries, manage records, and support triage in a fast-paced ER.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state-licensed veterinary technician credential.
• Emergency care and critical patient experience preferred.
• Willing to work overnight shifts.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements and performing examinations and nursing tasks.
• Assist during surgery and sterilize equipment; maintain accurate medical records.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments; monitor patient status and safety.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient progress and care instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment; manage inventory and supplies.
