Job summary

WellQuest of Elk Grove is seeking a Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities and personal care, promoting dignity and independence in a supportive environment.

The role requires compassionate care, strong English communication, and the ability to work with residents who may have cognitive impairments. Training includes safety protocols and routine health services, with a focus on teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Must pass criminal record clearance prior to beginning work.
• Food Handlers Card, if required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks as needed.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene.
• Aid at meals: serving, delivering trays, clearing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area.
• Encourage residents to participate in daily activities and maintain a safe environment.
• Report any observed changes in residents' condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality.
