Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent. You will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life through dedicated, respectful support and reliable, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, feeding).
• Available for flexible scheduling, including mornings/evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to transport clients safely.
• Experience in flexhome/home-care environments.
• Preserving client dignity, privacy, and independence in care.
• Able to perform light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, companionship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment to prevent infection and accidents.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishes, and room sanitation.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding while maintaining dignity.

• Fully available for flexible scheduling, including morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experienced in transporting clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Skilled in working in flexhome and other adaptive home-care environments, ensuring individualized care in both structured and dynamic settings.
• Dedicated to preserving client dignity, privacy, and independence in all aspects of care.
• Able to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and other in-home support tasks
