Family Pathways in Cambridge, MN seeks a Part-Time Overnight Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate to provide crisis intervention, direct service, and systems advocacy in a domestic violence shelter setting.

You will perform intake within 24 hours, orient residents to the shelter, plan activities, provide transportation as needed, and help foster a welcoming healing environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in crisis intervention and advocacy is preferred.
• Ability to complete intake forms promptly and coordinate services.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and information/referrals via a 24-hour crisis line.
• Coordinate personal/legal advocacy and case planning for shelter residents.
• Complete intake and orient new residents within 24 hours of entry.
• Plan resident groups and activities and support problem-solving and de-escalation.
