Family Pathways in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Part-Time Shelter Advocate for evenings and weekends to support residents of a domestic violence shelter. The role involves crisis intervention, direct service, and systems advocacy guided by our guiding principles.
You will provide intake within 24 hours of entry, facilitate group activities, support residents with problem-solving and de-escalation, and help coordinate personal/legal advocacy in collaboration with shelter staff.

The Shelter Advocate is responsible for providing crisis intervention, direct service, and systems advocacy for individuals residing in a domestic violence shelter setting. It is expected that the Shelter Advocate’s job performance will incorporate the practice and promotion of Family Pathways' guiding principles: trust, collaboration, communication, integrity, respect, positivity, and creativity.
