Job summary

Vista Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for overnight shifts in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. You will provide care and oversight to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring a safe, clean overnight environment and assisting with evening routines and morning preparation.

The role includes overnight safety, documentation in EHR, medication administration, light housekeeping, and meal prep.

Qualifications

• Age & Education: Minimum 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid and CPI preferred; ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clear driving record if driving company vehicles.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with mobility and transfers

Responsibilities

• Overnight Safety & Care: Maintain oversight during night hours and respond to awakenings or emergencies.
• Routine Support: Assist with evening wind-down, bedtime routines, and morning preparations.
• Documentation & EHR: Complete shift logs, overnight observations, and incident reports in EHR.
• Medication Administration: Verify and administer medications per company policies.
• Household Maintenance: Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
