Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Dock Supervisor to oversee shift operations in Orlando, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. You will supervise dock staff, manage loading/unloading, and collaborate with management to meet daily goals.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and operational excellence within a leading LTL carrier with a long-standing company culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 2 years of operations experience, preferably in transportation.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS400, DYMS, BLU and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of general DOT regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the safety of each employee daily.
• Oversee safe loading and unloading of freight and maintain productivity.
• Supervise dock employees and assign work to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage dock schedules and time-off requests.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to meet daily/weekly objectives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
