Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc. seeks a Night Dispatch Clerk to ensure accurate driver information and timely load delivery. You will resolve issues, update systems, and communicate with Customer Service, OPS Dispatch, and Dispatch Managers, exercising judgment on significant matters.

Typical schedule Tuesday–Saturday, 5:00 PM–2:00 AM, with Sunday–Monday off. Base pay is $45,500 per year, reflecting FT exempt status.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including extensive use of spreadsheets.
• Must possess excellent telephone communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently, with little direct supervision, and at a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to remain calm in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with customer service, dispatch matters, and issues.
• Enter dry van orders and update transload and OPS boards daily.
• Dispatch loads to drivers using Import, Export, and OTR spreadsheets.
• Prioritize Last Free Day containers and ensure timely coverage.
• Coordinate with shop for over-the-road breakdowns and repairs.
• Review pending loads and communicate changes to the Day Shift.
