Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc is seeking a Driver Manager Assistant to perform dispatch duties, fill in for Driver Managers, and supervise over-the-road drivers under DOT guidelines. Update the database with dispatch-related driver movements and maintain accurate records.

You will coordinate load pickups, track driver positions, and ensure timely deliveries and payments. Schedule: Tue-Sat 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Pay: $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have intermediate computer skills to navigate Truckmate database and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of FMCSRs regarding hours of service and DOT regulations.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate load assignments for drivers with DOT hours of service.
• Update dispatch databases and spreadsheets to prevent delays in deliveries and payments.
• Monitor driver positions and statuses to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Encourage drivers to achieve an average of 2.75 turns (≈2131 miles) per week.
• Log driver issues and feedback in the driver profile database.
• Attend Monthly Valued Driver meetings and Quarterly Driver Safety meetings.
