Responsibilities

Coordinate timely pickup and delivery within assigned area while maintaining customer expectations.
Direct and schedule drivers' work and notify assignments to ensure on-time movements.
Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues and communicate with customers as appropriate.
Monitor drivers' hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
Communicate regularly with customers about issues impacting service.
Prepare and process data and paperwork in dispatch systems in real time.
Monitor and promote safety in all dispatch activities.
