Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate care for individuals with IDD in a group home setting in Albemarle, NC. The role is part-time with an on-site schedule overnight from Saturday 8am to Monday 8am, including sleep shifts paid at the nightly rate.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, light housekeeping, personal care, scheduling, and documentation in the health records system.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Basic understanding of housekeeping, nutrition, safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care in the home and community.Assist with daily tasks such as housekeeping, meal prep, cooking and cleaning; personal care like bathing and dressing; and employment support.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Help plan and organize the client’s schedule.
• Document daily activities in the electronic health record.
