Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of experience working in large volume food service, restaurant, or patient food service environments.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a food service setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of a specific operational unit within the department.
• Participates in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of staff.
• Schedules employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintains positive motivation to ensure high engagement/morale.
• Ensures daily adherence to food safety regulations and handling protocols.
• Inventories, orders, and monitors usage of food and supplies; maintains documentation.
• Monitors food quality, product standards, sanitation, and patient/customer service.
• Communicates with unit customers, employees, and other departments.
• Supports service recovery efforts as needed.
