The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor Mid Shift to lead onsite cafeterias, cafés and patient room service. The role reports to dining operations and emphasizes safety, quality and customer service. Shift is 11:30am-8pm with alternating weekends off.
You will supervise a team, coordinate production, manage inventory and ensure food safety standards while maintaining excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Position Summary / Career Interest: The Dining Services Supervisor leads a team to service our onsite cafeterias, cafés, and coffee shops in addition to patient room service. The position oversees, or is directly responsible for, one or more of the following: inventory, cold food prep, cooking, plating, or room service. The position requires a keen focus on safety, quality, and customer service. Shift needed for our Product dining team is 11:30am-8pm with alternating weekends off.
High School Graduate or GED. 1 or more years of experience working in large volume food service, restaurant, or patient food service environments.
Associates Degree 1 or more years of supervisory experience in a food service setting.
Fluent English - Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Fluent Spanish - Knowledge.
Must possess basic math skills.
