McLane Company, Inc. in Smyrna, Tennessee is seeking a Delivery Assistant for a 3rd shift position. You will support the Delivery Driver by unloading trailers, lifting pallets, and preparing items for delivery, while maintaining safety and efficiency on the loading dock.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift and move pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
