Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Route Driver based in Glenwillow, OH. You will drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including overnight shifts on a weekly basis. You will perform safety checks, unload and deliver food products, verify orders, and collect payments as needed.

The role requires a CDL-A, a valid DOT Health Card, and a clean MVR. You will lift and move freight up to 90 pounds and adhere to DOT regulations, with a Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A; 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including overnight routes.
• Perform safety checks per DOT regulations and report safety issues.
• Unload products and verify delivery against invoices; obtain signatures and collect payments where required.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service records and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure equipment and freight are secured and ready for next shift.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally to ensure timely delivery.
