Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) in Middletown, CT is seeking an Overnight Crisis Clinician for MCIS per diem 7064. This on-site role supports 24/7 crisis response for youth and families, with autonomous work during overnight hours and collaboration with on-call supports.

The position requires a Master’s in behavioral health, CT licensure eligibility as a psychotherapist (LCSW or equivalent), and experience in crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health field.
• Experience as a psychotherapist working with addiction and/or mental health disorders.
• License-eligible in CT or licensed to practice psychotherapy (LCSW or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provides mobile crisis assessments and interventions in home, court, and community settings.
• Assesses risk and links to appropriate community services; determines need for hospitalization as needed.
• Connects clients at risk to ongoing agency clinical services and supports.
• Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
• Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
• Additional duties as required.
