Job summary

Community Health Resources, Inc. CHR is hiring a Crisis Therapist for the Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Services in Manchester, CT.

This per diem role supports 24/7 crisis services for youth and families, with a focus on rapid response, assessments, and linkage to ongoing care. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree and appropriate licensure, join a multidisciplinary mobile crisis team, and work Saturday-Sunday and holidays with varied hours.

Qualifications

• Experience working with trauma, mental illness and/or substance use disorders is preferred.
• Master’s Degree or higher in related field.
• Licensure required: LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A; LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Licensed Psychologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts mobile crisis assessments and interventions.
• Collaborates with schools, hospitals, DCF, law enforcement, and community providers.
• Maintains client and staff records according to agency policy.
• Provides coverage for team members during periods of absence.
• Participates in weekly supervision and trainings.
