Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) seeks a Crisis Therapist for Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Services in Middletown, CT. This full-time, on-site role engages in mobile crisis assessment and intervention for youths and families, delivering rapid crisis support 40 hours/week.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with schools, hospitals, and community partners, and provide follow-up linkage to ongoing services. LMSW/LMFT/LPC licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in related field required.
• Experience with trauma, mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and crisis intervention on mobile crisis team.
• Collaborate with schools, hospitals, DCF, law enforcement and community providers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and discharge plans with natural supports.
• Maintain client and staff records per agency policy.
• Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings.
